The tale of the time traveler found in these pages is an original script, involving two female time traveling companions – one an Englishwoman from the early 20th century and the other a United States citizen from the early 21st century. Although they begin their adventures solely as students of history, their activities take on a more important role as they protect the time stream from a fellow time traveler who wants to recast past events in an effort to make the world a better — with unintended consequences.

Along the way, the travelers encounter Attila the Hun, Caesar’s mother, Cortes, George Armstrong Custer, Cleopatra, and Shakespeare, among others – the audience has the opportunity to see several of these conversations with characters from history play out, often with a humorous twist – the friends’ encounter with the Bard of Avon has particularly amusing consequences.

The two friends also pick up a young peace activist from America’s sixties along the way – and romance finds time to develop even between these unlikely adventurers. Ultimately, however, the three time travelers must face an extraordinary test – one that challenges their commitment to the past as well as their commitment to one another.

The script is suitable for audiences of all ages, and it provides opportunities for either a teen cast or an adult cast.
