The Further MISadventures of the Seven Dwarfs (ISBN 978-1-7342460-5-6) is a play in 3 acts by Emily Wood and Michael Wood, which was first performed at Brush Creek Playhouse in 2011 and has returned to that stage twice since then.

Characters: 17 male, 5 female, and 1 unspecified (the 17 male characters include the 7 dwarfs and the 3 pigs, who can easily be portrayed by female actors (as can two of the remainder) – the show can be performed with as few as 12 actors)
This stage play is an original creation of the authors, based on characters who first appeared in The Brothers Grimm Tale of Snow White. Although the stories are inspired by events in various Brothers Grimm stories and other fairy tales, their assembly in this play (and the introduction of one of more of the dwarfs to each of the various stories) is entirely a product of the authors’ imagination.
Although the personalities of the dwarfs are based on those created by the author for The Brothers Grimm Tale of Snow White, it is not necessary for an audience to be familiar with that particular adaption of the classic tale in order to understand – and enjoy – the present story. Indeed, neither Snow White (nor her prince) appear in the present tale — the dwarfs and the Minstrel are the only recurring characters.
The play is written (the dwarfs, certainly) to be performed by children, and the light-hearted character of the dwarfs, even when faced with danger and mystery, makes it suitable fare for children – as well as for audiences of all ages who want to recapture the magic and whimsy that is the traditional fairy tale.
